Good morrow! I heard it’s best to keep blog posts short and succinct, so… poetry and music. I love them both. If I had to choose between the two, I couldn’t.
I imagine the three of us holding hands and prancing off into the sunset.
I also do a lot of random things, so I’ll make sure to keep everyone updated on The Life of Nok (capitalized for emphasis and pronounced “nook”.) Maybe I should call it Nok in a Nutshell. Too much? Maybe.
What’s the life of Nok? a site? another blog?
I always thought you had a secret blog Nok 😉
No, I was just typing random words :). I decided to call it Bird of Passage as an illusion to Brian Castro’s novella, Birds of Passage, and the meaning of my name, and my love for the written word, and the fact that I feel like a bird of passage. So many “and”s…
On another note, I think everyone has three lives: a public, private, and secret life ;).
When I said “illusion,” I meant “allusion.” Oops.
ahhh I thought you split it up to make a private personal life blog and a writer’s centered blog. Well good luck and I hope you enjoy it as much and heck even more then I do. I never thought I could write for fun, when I had/have so much other thesis writing to do, but it’s actually improved it. Go figure.
Here is one of my favorite blogs: She’s a writer and I can just cry reading her stuff sometimes and all she’s talking about is getting up in the morning. I also like how she gets feedback on her novel and throws around ideas.

Ah, thanks for the recommendation. I will definitely check it out.
Good luck on your thesis writing. I remember all the essays I had to write throughout my life, and I have a feeling it won’t be the last that I see of those lil suckas.
I’m also working on a novel. It’s been a slow go for me, but I’m still plugging away. I hope it won’t take me an eternity. Thanks for your comments, Betcy!
